At present am working as a Librarian in TCS LTD. My age is 26, I like to Join Defence but not as a Librarian. Is any way I can get entry In Indian Army Thanks & Rgds, Tilottama Shirsath

You have crossed the age limit for Short/permanent commission in Army. But for Engineering graduates the age limt is 20-27 Years. I presume that you do not have an engineering degree, so there is possibly no entry to Army is left except for territorial Army which is meant for already employed civilians. However, under the women special entry scheme (WSES ) the age limit is relaxable to those candidates who are having Post Graduate Degree in English/Maths/.Physics/History. These candidates on the first day of the month of the commencement of the course must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have crossed the age of 27 years on the second day of the month of the commencement of the course.
